G.A.S.C Life Memberships

One of the more enjoyable items on the agenda of the club’s Annual General Meeting is consideration given to awarding Life Membership to those who have served the club above and beyond the normal. This is what our constitution says:

C6.1.1 Life Membership may be presented to person(s) who have given outstanding service, over many years, to the Club and shall be presented at the AGM or at any other time decreed suitable by the Management Committee.

C6.1.2 A recommendation for Life Membership may be made by any Adult or Life Member to the Secretary for submission to the Management Committee. Full details of the nominee’s service should be included with the recommendation.

We are therefore looking for nominations for this year’s AGM, which by way of reminder, is being held on Wednesday 27th November. Proposals should be sent to the Club Secretary (swimglenrothes@hotmail.com) in writing by not later than 31st October 2024.
